* The announcement of the presence of three films with the presence of Iranian actors and actors at the Cannes International Film Festival has probably made many people happy. * Some of the films that have been nominated for Oscars have been through this company. The artist Michel Hazanavisius’s film won major awards in 2012, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Jean Dujardin), Best Soundtrack, and Best Costume Design, and was preceded by Tom Hooper’s King’s Speech. In addition to Best Picture, he won Best Director (Tom Hooper), Best Actor (Colin Firth) and Best Original Screenplay.

* At the Venice Film Festival, the company’s films, including Mr. Nobody (2009), Wrestler (2008) and The Magdalene Sisters (2002), also won the Golden Lion, but the most important international award for the company and its films is the Cannes Film Festival. The Palme d’Or and several other films have won other awards. Among the company-sponsored films that won the Palme d’Or was “Blue Porn, The Hottest Color,” by Abdul Latif Kashisheh, which many critics consider a pornographic film, not a feature film.

* The company had previously paid special attention to Iranian films, including two films in Five Afternoon and The Blackboard by Samira Makhmalbaf. But this year, the focus has taken on a new dimension with the introduction of three films: Leila’s Brothers by Saeed Roustayi, Br

other and Sister by Arno Deplashin, and Holy Spider by Ali Abbasi, an Iranian-Swedish director, both starring Iranian actresses with moral margins.

* The economy of art will not make sense without consent to work at national borders, but the question is that there should not be a clear and reliable mechanism for foreign investors, especially in the cultural field? Who are the investors of Saeed Roustayi’s new film? Is it clear what this movie is about?

Leila’sBrothers” is Saeed Roustayi’s third feature film after two successful films, “Ever and a Day” and “Six and a Half Meters”, which will have its world premiere in the competition section of the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

Taraneh Alidosti, Navid Mohammadzadeh, Saeed Poursamimi, Farhad Aslani, Peyman Maadi and Mohammad Alimohammadi are among the actors in this film.

The 75th Cannes Film Festival will be held in person from May 17 to 28 (May 27 to June 7).
